Thank you for your interest in our company. Data protection is of particular importance to the management of Brabender Solutions GmbH (hereinafter "we" or "us").

This data protection declaration applies to all companies affiliated with Brabender Solution GmbH.

In this data protection declaration, we explain how we collect and process personal data (hereinafter "data"). This is not a final description; other data protection declarations or general terms and conditions, conditions of participation and similar documents may regulate specific matters.

This data protection declaration is based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Although the GDPR is a regulation of the European Union, it is of great relevance to us. The Swiss Data Protection Act (“FDA”) is strongly influenced by EU law, and companies outside the European Union and the EEA must comply with the GDPR under certain circumstances. Of course, we take the Swiss Data Protection Act into account when processing data.

Personal data" means all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. The term "processing" includes any operation carried out with or without the means of automated procedures in connection with personal data, such as the collection, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, reading, retrieval, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, reconciliation or linking, restriction, deletion or destruction.

II. Rights of users and persons concerned

As a user of our website, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

1. Article 15 GDPR - The right to be informed of whether your data are processed, to information about your data, to further information about data processing and to copies of your data.

2 Art. 16 DSBER - The right to correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete data.

3. Article 17 GDPR - The right to immediate deletion of your data or, alternatively, if further processing is required pursuant to paragraph 3 GDPR, to the limitation of processing (Article 18 GDPR).

4. Art. 20 GDPR - The right to receive the data concerning you and provided by you and to have this data transferred to other providers/responsible parties.

5. Art. 77 GDPR - The right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that your data are processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations.

Furthermore, according to Art. 19 GDPR, we are obliged to inform all recipients to whom data have been disclosed by the provider about any correction or deletion of data or the restriction of processing that occurs on the basis of Articles 16, 17, para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation shall not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, you have a right to be informed about these recipients.

You also have the right to object to the future processing of your data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR provided that the data are processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permitted.

III. Information on data processing

Your personal data which have been processed when visiting our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, provided that the deletion of the data does not conflict with any legal storage obligations and if no conflicting processing procedures apply.

Server data
For technical reasons, in particular in order to ensure a secure and stable internet presence, data is transmitted to us or to our web space provider via your internet browser. With these so-called server log files, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our internet presence (referrer URL), the website(s) of our internet presence that you visit, the date and time of the respective access as well as the IP address of the internet connection from which our internet presence is used are collected. The data collected in a foregoing way will be temporarily stored, but not together with other data of yours.

This data is stored on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest unless further storage is required for evident purposes. Otherwise, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until an incident is finally resolved.

Newsletter
If you register for our free newsletter, the data requested by you for this purpose, i.e. your e-mail address and - optionally - your name and address, will be sent to us. At the same time, we store the IP address of the internet connection from which you access our website as well as the date and time of your registration. As part of the further registration process, we will obtain your consent to send you the newsletter on a regular basis, describe the content in detail and refer you to this data protection declaration. The data collected is used exclusively for the purpose of providing you with the newsletter - it will therefore not be passed on to third parties.

You may revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. All you have to do is inform us of your revocation (see contact details under Section I) or click the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

Contact/Inquiries
If you contact us via the contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your request. Providing the data is necessary for processing and responding to your inquiry - without those data, we cannot answer your inquiry or only to a limited extent. Your data will be deleted when your inquiry has been fully processed and there is no legal obligation to keep your data safe, e.g. in the case of a possible subsequent contract processing.

Google AdWords with conversion tracking
In our website, we use the advertising component Google AdWords and the so-called conversion tracking. This is a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter only called "Google".

Through certification according to the EU-US privacy shield ("EU-US Privacy Shield") https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt00000000001L5AAI&status=Active, Google guarantees that the EU's data protection regulations will also be observed when processing data in the USA.

We use the conversion tracking for the targeted advertising of our offer. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our internet presence.

If you click on an ad placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use stores a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve your personal identification.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page of our website, both we and Google can evaluate that you clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and that you were then forwarded to our website.

Google uses the information which has been collected in this way to compile statistics for us about visits to our website. In addition, we receive information about the number of users who clicked on our advertisement(s) and about the pages of our internet presence that are subsequently called up. Neither we nor third parties that use Google AdWords will be able to identify you in this way.

You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your internet browser. At the same time, you can delete cookies that have already been saved at any time. However, the steps and measures required depend on the internet browser you are using. Online job applications/publication of job advertisements
We offer you the opportunity to submit your application by e-mail. In the event of a digital application, we collect and process your application data electronically in order to conduct the application process.

If an employment contract is concluded after the application procedure, we will store the data you provided during the application in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organizational and administrative process - in compliance with further legal obligations.

If you expressly consent to a longer storage of your data, e.g. for your inclusion in a database of applicants or interested parties, the data will be processed further on the basis of your consent. However, you can, of course, revoke your consent at any time pursuant to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR by notification to us with effect for the future.

IV. Amendments

We may revise this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. The current version published on our website applies. If the Privacy Policy is part of an agreement with you, we will notify you of the change by e-mail or other appropriate means in the event of an update.
